
Position Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Technical Business Analyst who will serve as the critical bridge between our marketing team and data & analytics organization. This unique role requires a professional who is first and foremost a marketing expert, with the technical acumen to translate marketing needs into actionable data requirements and compelling dashboards. You will be the voice of marketing within the data team, ensuring that reporting solutions deliver the insights our marketing leaders need to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities
Partner directly with marketing leadership and teams to understand their strategic goals, campaigns, and reporting needs Translate marketing objectives into clear, technical requirements for dashboard development and data reporting Define and document marketing KPIs, metrics, and analytics requirements that align with business objectives Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with marketing stakeholders to identify reporting gaps and opportunities Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure marketing data requirements are accurately captured and implemented Provide subject matter expertise on marketing attribution, customer journey analytics, campaign performance, and digital marketing metrics Review and validate dashboard designs and data outputs to ensure they meet marketing team needs and industry best practices Conduct user acceptance testing of reports and dashboards with marketing stakeholders Train marketing team members on new reporting tools and capabilities, ensuring adoption and effective use Stay current on marketing analytics trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our reporting capabilities Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in marketing, with deep expertise in digital marketing, marketing analytics, and campaign management Strong understanding of marketing concepts including customer acquisition, lead generation, conversion optimization, attribution modeling, and marketing funnel analytics Experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools) Proven ability to define marketing KPIs and translate business requirements into technical specifications Technical aptitude with the ability to understand data structures, SQL concepts, and dashboard development processes Experience working with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms) Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the construction, home services, or foundation solutions industry SQL proficiency or ability to write basic queries for data validation Certification in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or other marketing platforms Experience with CRM systems and understanding of sales and marketing alignment Project management experience or certification What Success Looks Like

This position reports to the Data & Analytics leadership team and works in close partnership with the Marketing department. You will have a dotted-line relationship with marketing leadership and serve as their primary liaison to the data organization.
