CTI Engineers is seeking a Senior Proposal Coordinator / Marketing Specialist to lead the development of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and related marketing materials across all CTI offices. This role is responsible for managing the full proposal lifecycle while working closely with technical staff, leadership, and business development teams. This role is not entry-level. The ideal candidate has strong experience in A/E/C proposals, understands public-sector procurement, and is comfortable independently managing complex SOQs from kickoff through final submission. Responsibilities
Proposal & SOQ Development:
The Senior Proposal Coordinator leads the preparation of SOQs and proposals for municipal, state, and private clients. This includes reviewing RFQs/RFPs, coordinating content, drafting and editing narratives, and assembling final submittals. The role ensures each submission aligns with client requirements, CTI’s qualifications, and brand standards. Cross-Office Coordination:
This position supports all CTI offices and serves as a central point of coordination for proposal efforts. Responsibilities include working with project managers, engineers and the marketing team to gather resumes, project descriptions, and technical content, while maintaining consistency across offices and service areas. Content Management & Quality Control:
The role maintains and updates proposal-related content, including resumes, project sheets, boilerplate language, and graphics. The Senior Proposal Coordinator ensures accuracy, clarity, and consistency, and performs thorough quality control reviews before submission. Marketing Support:
In addition to proposals, this position supports broader marketing efforts such as qualifications packages, presentations, and occasional website or collateral updates related to firm experience and services. The role may assist with developing standard templates, processes, and SOPs for proposal development. Scheduling & Deadline Management:
The Senior Proposal Coordinator manages multiple deadlines simultaneously, develops proposal schedules, facilitates kickoff meetings, and ensures internal reviews are completed on time. The role is responsible for keeping teams on track and anticipating bottlenecks. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal coordination or marketing within an A/E/C or professional services firm Demonstrated experience producing SOQs and proposals for public-sector clients Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working with senior technical staff and leadership The firm is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and offers an outstanding benefits package.
