Hybrid, in office Tuesday through Thursday The Firm
Headquartered in New York with 7 offices in financial centers worldwide, 3forge is a technology innovator specializing in real-time data streaming and enterprise application development using the only finance-native application engine. Its live development and operating workbench is trusted by some of the largest buy-side and sell-side firms to rapidly plan, build, and operate sophisticated applications at scale with full control over integration, data processing, and visualization. Its advanced, role-specific dashboards connect to virtually any data source to transform fragmented workflows into unified, responsive systems engineered for reliability, performance, and ease of use. The Opportunity
We’re looking for a designer who is strong at execution, iteration, and consistency across surfaces to work on both our product UI and our public website, focusing on clarity, usability, and visual coherence. Our offering is highly technical, addressing specialized audiences in finance and financial technology, so this is an opportunity for a designer to translate complex concepts into sophisticated visual experiences. This role is well-suited for someone early-to-mid career who enjoys fast feedback, tight loops, and refining existing patterns into a simple, repeatable system. We are looking for a web and product designer with 3–5 years total experience working in environments with revision cycles (e.g. studio, agency, or fast-paced in-house teams) as we continuously refine and expand our assets, support outreach campaigns, and design new product screens. This role sits at the intersection of brand, web, and product. You will be in charge of maintainingour corporate website, translate designs into production code, and shape the look and feel of a large portfolio of product and demo interfaces used to showcase and operate complex, real-time financial applications. This is not a brand-heavy role and does not involve creating a new visual identity. Most work builds on existing components, patterns, and direction. If you are a design-first thinker who enjoys execution, cares deeply about visual precision, consistency, iterations, if “make this cleaner, faster, clearer” resonates with you, and wants to see your work live in production rather than in decks, this role is built for you. What You Will Do
Website and brand design
Design new website pages and sections in Figma, working closely with the rest of the marketing team to evolve and maintain a cohesive brand identity, visual language, and voice. Enhance existing designs and refine layouts, typography, color usage, and visual hierarchy to elevate clarity and polish. Ensure consistency across web pages, campaigns, and digital assets. Web implementation and maintenance
Maintain and extend our corporate website, currently built in HTML and CSS using Tailwind. Translate Figma designs into clean, production-ready code, using AI-assisted workflows where appropriate. Collaborate with engineering to test, deploy, and publish updates reliably. Product and application UI design
Lead the design or redesign of dozens of user interfaces used for product demos, client portals, documentation sites, and internal tools. Work on dense, highly interactive, real-time interfaces used by thousands of users in financial markets. Design for clarity, performance, and usability in environments where precision and speed matter. In some cases, implement designs directly using our own commercial platform, a financial application engine used by leading Wall Street institutions. Why This Role Is Different
Web and product design is being reshaped by AI, automation, and new tooling. This role is intentionally structured to take advantage of that shift. You will not be boxed into production-only work or isolated design tasks. Instead, you will: Drive design across an entire technology company. Work from concept to production, seeing ideas through to live execution. Use AI as a multiplier for speed and iteration, not as a replacement for taste, judgment, or craft. Develop a rare blend of brand, web, and product design experience inside a deep-technology environment. Who You Are
3 to 5 years of experience in web and or product design, ideally with agency experience and exposure to design systems and team workflows. Design-first in your thinking, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to pixel-perfect execution. Confident, fast, and comfortable owning work end to end. Proficient in Figma and modern design workflows. Solid working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS, with experience using Tailwind or similar frameworks. Comfortable collaborating with developers and engineers. Curious, adaptable, and excited to use AI tools to accelerate design and implementation. Interested in complex products and not intimidated by technical or data-heavy interfaces. Experience with financial, enterprise, or B2B software is a plus, but not required. What’s In It for You
Join a bootstrapped, profitable technology company with a proven product, 14 years of sustained growth, and world-class clients. Work with a global team across seven offices in North America, Europe, and Asia. Work on both websites and product design. Move closer to real users, real systems, and real impact. Help scale design, marketing, and operations at a company entering its next growth phase. Compensation
The target compensation range for this position is $75,000-$85,000 per year. Benefits include health insurance coverage, annual paid sick/leave days and other staff benefits. Learn more about our culture and life at 3forge at https://3forge.com/company/working-at-3forge
