Graphic Designer and Video Editor

who is strong in their craft and excited about leveraging AI and modern tools to push creative work further. This role blends strong design fundamentals with hands on video editing and emerging creative technology to help shape a fast growing brand in the sports space. This is a

hybrid role based in Southern California

with an in office expectation of two to three days per week. This is an opportunity to do real work in sports, building alongside athletes, creating content that actually ships, and having real ownership over the creative output. What You Will Do:Brand Design and Visual Execution

Execute high quality design across email, social, web, paid ads, packaging, and print Own dielines, packaging mockups, and print ready production assets Uphold and evolve Thread’s brand standards across all channels Ensure visual consistency across static and motion assets Video Editing and Motion Content

Edit short form and long form video content for social, paid media, and brand storytelling Create performance driven video assets for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and web Collaborate with marketing and content teams to turn raw footage into compelling on brand edits Support light motion graphics, text animation, and basic sound design where needed Organize, version, and optimize video assets for different platforms and formats Campaigns and Visual Storytelling

Translate campaign ideas into compelling visual narratives across static and video formats Create assets that connect with both athletes and parents, reinforcing Thread’s story and values Contribute creative and design thinking early in campaign development so visuals and messaging work together to inspire action Creative Systems and Innovation

Design Systems: Build and maintain scalable templates and frameworks in Figma, Canva, and related tools to keep the brand consistent and speed up production Tool Exploration: Experiment with emerging creative tools including AI assisted design and video workflows Process Innovation: Help refine workflows that make it easier for the team to brief, create, iterate, and ship creative efficiently Recommended Qualifications

Two to four years

of professional experience in graphic design with video editing as a core responsibility Strong portfolio showcasing both design and video editing work across social, ads, and brand content Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and or After Effects Experience preparing dielines and print ready files Comfortable editing short form performance focused video content Early adopter of AI and emerging creative tools with examples of how they are used in your workflow Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through Details and Benefits
