Huntsman is seeking an

Account Manager

supporting the

Elastomers Division

located in

Auburn Hills, MI; Derry, NH; Chicago, IL; or Remote (Northeast, Midwest, Southeast) . This position will report to the

Sales Manager – Elastomers .

Overview The Account Manager is responsible for profitably growing sales within the TPU and MDI systems and system components product portfolio, in alignment with the Elastomers business strategy. This role focuses on both developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships while delivering value, profitability, and long-term growth for Huntsman.

Responsibilities

Drive profitable sales growth through the full sales cycle, including identifying, qualifying, quoting, closing, and developing new and existing business.

Actively hunt for new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding current customer accounts.

Lead and execute account plans, budgets, and forecasts to achieve agreed revenue, value, and profit objectives.

Negotiate pricing and manage contractual agreements with prospective and existing customers.

Utilize C4C CRM tools to ensure timely call reporting, opportunity management, and lead tracking.

Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, buyers, decision-makers, and influencers across customer organizations.

Develop and maintain high-quality market intelligence, including market share analysis, product penetration, competitor positioning, and value differentiation.

Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations to customers and internal commercial and technical stakeholders.

Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Technical teams to meet agreed service levels and business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or Business required.

7+ years of experience in sales and/or account management roles, preferably within industrial or chemical markets.

Skills and Knowledge

Strong understanding of the sales process with a results-driven and customer-focused mindset.

High level of self-motivation, resilience, and tenacity to achieve sales targets.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.

Ability to comprehend and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Strong relationship-building and follow-up skills.

Proven ability to collaborate across functions and interact with teams at multiple organizational levels.

Flexible, team-oriented professional with leadership qualities and a positive, can-do attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Polyurethanes and Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU).

Prior experience serving customers within industries relevant to Elastomers applications.

Experience working in a regional or multi-location sales environment.
