POSITION SUMMARY:
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements. This role involves managing user accounts, ensuring system integrity, and supporting end-users to maximize the platform's effectiveness. The Salesforce Administrator acts as the go-to expert for Salesforce-related projects, integrations, and troubleshooting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Configure and maintain Salesforce to align with business processes, including custom fields, objects, workflows, validations, and page layouts. Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security to ensure optimal functionality. Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions, ensuring compliance with security policies. Provide training and support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing adoption. Develop and update training materials and user documentation. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency through automation, such as workflows and flows. Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and implement changes to Salesforce to meet business needs. Perform regular data audits and maintain data hygiene, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Import, export, and update data as needed using tools like Data Loader or third-party integrations. Build and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to various teams. Assist stakeholders in interpreting data to support decision-making processes. Manage integrations between Salesforce and other business applications. Work with developers or external vendors to implement custom solutions as needed. Stay updated on Salesforce releases and features, ensuring the platform remains current. Ensure Salesforce usage aligns with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field. Salesforce Administrator Certification is required; advanced certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus. 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with expertise in managing user roles, workflows, and data processes. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling and security. Experience with tools such as Data Loader, Flow, and Salesforce integrations. Familiarity with third-party Salesforce apps (e.g., DocuSign, Tableau CRM) is an advantage. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments and interact with non-technical users. Proficiency in SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce/APEX, Unit Test Development, JSON, and XMLis a plus but not mandatory.
