Material Handling Systems, Inc. founded in 2001, is a leading provider of quality products to the warehousing industry. Stocking distributor for: Nucor and Unarco pallet and cantilever rack, Western Pacific Storage Systems, Bluff Mfg., Dutro and more! We have 2 acres and 25,000 or new and used rack and industrial equipment in the heart of the Sacramento area on Arden Way near Northgate.
Inside Sales Representative Job Summary
In this key role, you will represent SACRAMENTO RACK AND SHELVING by showcasing and selling our products and services.
IMPORTANT: WAREHOUSE EQUIPMENT SALES EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
You will create, fully develop and protect customer relationships for our company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work with customers and inside sales to receive and process inquiries and orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Identify customer product needs and coordinate products and services to address these needs.
Work with customers and inside sales to develop price quotations.
Report back to management through all channels required by manager.
Effective use of Quickbooks is a plus.

Qualifications Professional sales experience preferred. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, customer service oriented, excellent communicator, and organized. Warehouse rack, shelving, equipment sales experience and/or industry knowledge a plus.
Working knowledge of Google Calendars, Excel, Word and Quickbooks preferred. "Basecamp" project management software experience a plus.
Physical Requirements This work requires the following physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. of material, finger dexterity for activities such as data entry and calculator use, grasping, repetitive motions, speaking, hearing, visual acuity, and mobility between locations. Use of both hands is required.
Salary and Benefits Salary starting at $30 per hour or more depending on experience, raise after 90 days, commission and bonuses depending upon performance. 401K, paid Holidays and vacation after 1 year of employment.
