Position We are currently growing our team of Artisans with an Account Manager, Rizon – A Refined Technologies Company. This role will be based out of the Tulsa area. This role is responsible for a semi-dedicated customer to ensure treatment chemicals and equipment are used effectively, economically, and safely in refineries, petrochemical facilities, and terminals while exemplifying RTI’s Mission and Core Behaviors.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage chemical programs to maximize the safety, reliability, and profitability of our customers’ assets.

Implement Performance Management tools, set targets, and monitor the contingency plan for each application.

Perform routine service visits and lab/field testing as outlined in the customer contract to ensure KPI’s (key performance indicators) are being met, generate service reports, and maintain inventory records.

Assist with technical issues and make improvements in products, processes, and procedures.

Oversee Account Representatives and Service Technicians.

Coordinate with Supply Chain on the order and delivery of chemicals to maintain adequate on-site inventory levels.

Develop relationships and regularly interface with clients’ maintenance, operations, engineering, and turnaround teams.

Utilize digital tools such as Rizon App, iView, or any other digital tool to effectively communicate and train refining companies on their purpose.

Host quarterly business review meetings with key stakeholders to review safety performance, value-add projects, KPI’s, and financials.

Generate data analysis on program performance.

Look for value-added growth opportunities.

Maintain the quality of Rizon owned equipment.

Coordinate with the Regional Business Director for: chemistry selection, service requirements, presentations, and review/approval of teams vacation requests, expense reports, stipends, etc.

Challenge the team with new responsibilities and continuing education; serve as a lead for training.

Evaluate safety performance of direct reports regularly and ensure that effective JSAs are completed and reviewed.

Provide onsite safety liaison for projects in your control.

Complete incident reports and participate in cause findings and corrective actions.

Communicate weekly and incident safety briefs with direct reports and convey safety notifications up and down the organization.

Requirements

Minimum five years of process engineering or operations at a refinery or chemical plant.

Highly proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with operations of refineries or chemical plants.

Ability to lead a team and communicate clearly and effectively.

Become familiar with RTI technologies and handle multiple activities concurrently.

Comfortable meeting with client leadership and performing field service/lab testing.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands The Company requires passing a pre-employment physical in which an objective medical professional will determine whether you can safely meet the physical demands of the position.

Travel Requirements Ability to travel to assigned customer account.
