A.J. Hanson & Co. is a well-established, solid company, looking for an energetic, detail oriented inside sales representative. You will be working towards a common company goal and will make an immediate and valuable impact within our organization. The Inside Sales Representative will be in-office answering customer inquiries by email and phone, processing orders, providing quotes, building on and maintaining existing customer and vendor relationships. We are looking for someone who has the enthusiasm to continually learn about the products and professionally support the manufacturers we represent.
Responsibilities
Meet and exceed customer’s needs and inquiries whether it pertains to pricing, deliveries, education, or assistance.
Determine proper communication method with the customer
Be able to offer add-on items, suggestions for alternative type products to satisfy a customer’s needs
Prepare, generate, and follow up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders
Be confident in triaging your daily duties as workflow and requirements change throughout the day
Work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish our company goals
Inventory tracking as it moves within our warehouse and ships out to the customer
Continually look to improve our processes and workflow
Maintain and improve your product knowledge on the product we represent and the applications they are used in
Processing orders in a timely fashion, on occasion picking and shipping orders to help customers at our front counter
Supporting and aiding outside sales personnel when needed
Be able to work independently but willing to ask questions when needed
Utilize the tools in place to crossover and cross-reference products
Be able to effective utilize your down time
Professional emphasis on building and strengthening our relationships with our customers and manufacturers
Qualifications
Customer service skills and customer-centric focus
Able to handle and meet deadlines
Solid work ethic and positive work morale
Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written styles
Self-motivated, ability to work independently and teamwork and common goal focused
Good organizational and problem‑solving skills
Detail‑Oriented, accurate with numbers
Able to answer phones and assist, promote and help customers
Proven customer service and sales track record
Ability to lift 40 lbs. on occasion
Proficient computer skills in MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook
Competent math skills
This is not a remote position. Office Hours 7:30-4PM. Monday-Friday
