Position Overview

The Inside Sales Associate plays a key role in supporting customers, generating sales, preparing accurate quotes, and ensuring orders move smoothly through our workflow. This position works closely with Outside Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Production teams.

A technical background, especially related to HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems, is a strong plus and will be required in some of the daily duties.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate sales quotes for equipment, parts, and service.

Conduct sales calls, including follow-ups and cold calls to new prospects.

Maintain and update pricing sheets for parts, components, and assemblies.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding job status, lead times, and order updates.

Review customer purchase orders for accuracy, correct part numbers, and required specifications.

Enter and track orders through the process to ensure on-time delivery.

Track, document, and coordinate warranty cases with internal departments.

Serve as a liaison between customers, engineering, and production to ensure clear communication.

Build strong customer relationships through professional and timely communication.

Maintain records, quotes, and correspondence within internal systems (Sage, Salesforce, Smartsheets and other company platforms).

Qualifications

Experience in inside sales, customer service, or a technical support role.

Basic technical knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, or electrical systems, or the ability to learn quickly.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

High attention to detail with the ability to review and interpret technical information.

Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Sage, Salesforce, Microsoft Project or similar systems preferred.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Dependable, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
