The Outbound Account Executive team fuels DoorDash’s growth by building meaningful partnerships with local and regional restaurants across the country. Stationed locally, this team focuses on helping small and mid-size businesses grow by introducing them to DoorDash’s platform and merchant solutions. Our teams operate in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and work closely together to develop the next generation of DoorDash sales talent. About The Role
We are looking for an Account Executive (AE) to join our Regional Sales team. As an Account Executive, you are responsible for bringing on the best local and regional small and mid-size merchants (SMB) onto DoorDash. You will own the complete sales process from start to finish while operating in a transactional deal cycle, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. In this role, you will creatively engage with prospects while achieving metrics. You will report to the Inside Sales Manager, with potential for career growth. This role is flexible and may require some time in the office and some time remote. You may need to travel for in-person collaboration through training, offsites, team-building events, and other business-related necessities. Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location. In addition to base salary, there are opportunities for sales commission. Talk to your recruiter for more information. For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked, and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado, is $19.37—$32.50 USD.
