Novak Diesel Service is looking to hire an Outside Sales Representative. Our ideal candidate should have service and parts knowledge of Highway trucks and trailers as well as some parts and service knowledge of heavy construction equipment. They will be responsible for visiting current customer accounts as well as developing new customer accounts from cold calls. Responsibilities
Must have previous outside sales experience. Must be people-oriented, aggressive, sales‑driven and a team player. Possess excellent customer service skills. Must be able to build prospects and business relationships. Cold‑calling and job site calls are required. Previous experience of preparing professional sales presentations and quotes for customers. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Qualifications
Heavy Truck and Trailer Sales - 3 years Heavy Construction Equipment Sales - 1 year Language - English Work Authorization - United States Exceptional customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic email and PC functions Knowledge of common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, taxes and payments for products and services. Self‑motivated and results‑oriented, competitive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Make customer visits regularly on a weekly basis. Ideal Candidate
People‑oriented – enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects. Adaptable/flexible – enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction. Novak Diesel Service offers maintenance and repair services for the oilfield, industrial, construction, marine, and agricultural industries. We are equipped to do in‑house or on‑site service repairs, 24 hours a day. We also offer commercial pressure washing for fleets and routine services. Novak Diesel Service has a 6‑bay shop located in Edna, TX and a fleet of 13 fully‑stocked service trucks allowing us to provide services for the state of Texas, Louisiana and every other state in the U.S. We now can accommodate bigger jobs with our newly added additional shop with a 10 ton walking crane. We can accommodate more big jobs along with our air lift system we currently have to take care of our customers.
