
Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO)

In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory. You’ll attend an award‑winning training program and work with both new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions. Daily, you’ll cultivate relationships with Human Resources and executive decision‑makers, set appointments, gather leads, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions.
You will manage multiple sales processes simultaneously, document them, and support implementation until new business is up and running. What You’ll Do: Responsibilities Grow Our Business While Growing Yours : Work within a protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top‑down sales strategy.
Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients : Recommend the right solutions to help clients understand and solve their real business needs, earning referral business through networking and partnership.
Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family : Strategically cross‑sell other ADP offerings to cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
Collaborate Daily : Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
To Succeed in This Role: Required Qualifications
Positive Self‑Starter : Upbeat, persistent, able to cold call without fear of rejection, manage time well, prioritize deliverables, multi‑task, and present ideas clearly in writing, in person, and on the phone.
Strategic Closer : Established network, experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales, impressive track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing territory and relationships.
Proven Winner : Ambitious spirit, thrives under pressure, motivated to hit and exceed sales quotas.
A college degree is beneficial but not required. Other acceptable experience includes:
Three years of business‑to‑business sales experience (preferably field sales) within a results‑driven environment.
Military experience that cultivates teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust‑building, and a never‑lose mentality.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
