Employee Relations Consultant

based in California to join our team. In this role, youll be the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing expert guidance, insights, and recommendations aligned with HR policies and compliant with applicable laws. What youll do Respond to inquiries via our ER phone line as a primary responsibility. Assess situations quickly and provide sound advice to mitigate risk. Educate leaders on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation. Support investigations and other ER initiatives as needed. Build and lead change management plans, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment. Develop employee relations solutions and make recommendations based on business strategy and stakeholder needs. Provide employee relations advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions. Educate managers on Labor Relations management, relevant HR policies, procedures, legislation and training opportunities. Interpret regulations & policies, recommend business issue resolutions. Support execution of strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic issues. Provide support for severance and reductions in force. Initial intake and primary assessment for ER requests to determine facts, identify issues & mitigate risks. Provide input into planning & implementation of operational programs, ensuring service level agreements and standards. Governance over ER matters, advocating fair treatment while protecting legal and legislative rights. Investigate complaints, provide resolution solutions, document findings. Build effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders. Align stakeholders, act as point person for key vendor relationships. Analyze data and information to provide ER insights and recommendations. Monitor and track program performance, address issues. Work independently on complex tasks, including unique situations, with broader work as needed.

What were looking for

Strong judgment and problem?solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment. 46 years of HR/Employee Relations experience. Financial services industry experience preferred. Excellent communication and relationship?building skills. Legal or HR designation preferred. Bilingualism is an asset. Data?driven decision making, influence and collaboration skills. Law degree preferred. Competence in technical proficiency, verbal & written communication. Salary

$57,500.00 - $106,500.00 (Salaried). Salaries will vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. Additional compensation may include commissions. Benefits
