About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy to spearhead its M&A activities, strategic planning, and key growth initiatives. This executive will be responsible for leading the end-to-end M&A process, from sourcing to execution, and will play a pivotal role in building and managing relationships with various stakeholders. The role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or consulting, and a proven track record in M&A, particularly within the technology sector. The successful candidate will be expected to drive both corporate and business unit strategy, develop board-level materials, and conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have 8-15 years' of experience and a background that includes a significant focus on M&A execution, preferably within software, SaaS, ad tech, or tech-enabled services. A strong preference is given to those with experience in private equity-backed companies. The role requires exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The Vice President will also be a key partner to senior leadership and private equity sponsors, presenting recommendations and insights, and acting as a strategic thought partner across the organization.
