Medline Industries is seeking a Senior Product Managers to join our team in Northfield, IL.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Expand Medline’s global exam glove business to achieve 50% market share, replicating its US success and growing the current 15% business internationally.
Conduct effective market research and translate that research into new products, product improvements, or line extensions by providing leadership to a multi-functional team.
Liaise & lead product teams globally to understand global markets & influence change to grow Medline’s market leadership in Exam gloves.
Collaborate with sourcing and regional teams to drive business value by optimizing cost efficiencies through strategic initiatives, including packaging innovations, alternative material adoption, diversified sourcing, optimized stocking strategies, make-to-order production, and direct-to-customer fulfillment.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and promotional initiatives for both existing and new products, encompassing product strategy formulation, pricing optimization, brand stewardship, and the creation of compelling marketing collateral.
Evaluate monthly financial performance, identify key influencing factors, and propose strategic solutions to address deviations from plan.
Develop comprehensive product forecasts encompassing projected revenue and expenditures.
Conduct in-depth analysis of sales trends over time, assessing the impact of competitive market strategies.
Ensure forecasts and budgets are substantiated with well-structured, data-driven marketing plans.
Design and implement comprehensive training materials tailored for internal stakeholders, sales teams, and customers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
Collaborate with the sales force and regional partners through strategic travel initiatives to drive customer conversions and expand Medline’s market presence.
Cultivate a high-performing team by providing mentorship, structured onboarding, continuous development opportunities, and robust performance management.
Foster a culture of engagement, motivation, and excellence while ensuring the team is optimally staffed with the necessary expertise.
Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3 days per week. 10-15% of the time is required to travel to Canada, Europe, Latin America, Japan and Australia for collaboration with business partners.
Required Experience: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Marketing, Healthcare or related field, or its foreign equivalent, and 4-year experience as Product Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, or related.
In addition, experience with the following skills is required : (1) Experience managing the full product lifecycle including the sourcing, marketing, new product development and sales. (2) Experience developing new products in a global healthcare context and navigating international regulatory frameworks to support successful product launches. (3) Experience negotiating with outside vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize cost of goods and product launch plans to enter new markets. (4) Experience collecting and analyzing financial data to inform profitable pricing strategies and sustainable business growth in a chosen market. (5) Experience conducting portfolio optimization utilizing data including historical sales, profitability analysis, reviewing vendor capacity, customer complaints to inform long term, profitable growth strategies.

$99,341.00 to $138,000.00 Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
