Job Summary The Sr. Director Procurement will lead the development and execution of Medline’s procurement strategies, processes, and technology that drive operational excellence, innovation, risk mitigation and value creation across the enterprise. This role will serve as a strategic partner to category leaders, sourcing teams, and business units, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and continuous improvement in procurement performance. Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Set Strategic Direction:

Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Procurement Center of Excellence, driving transformation and digital enablement.

Govern Processes & Compliance:

Establish and enforce procurement policies, standards, and regulatory compliance while optimizing processes and automation.

Build Organizational Capability:

Develop performance metrics, benchmark against peers, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Lead & Develop Talent:

Manage and mentor a high-performing procurement team, ensuring clear goals, accountability, and succession planning.

Leverage Technology & Analytics:

Oversee procurement systems, tools, and data analytics to enhance efficiency, transparency, and strategic decision-making.

Engage Stakeholders:

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and partner with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.

Drive Communication & Training:

Deliver training programs, maintain procurement resources, and communicate standards across the enterprise.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Mentor and provide oversight to employees/teams.

Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects.

Recommend, develop and implement new policies and procedures, or modifications to existing.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field Work Experience 15+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain.

Proven leadership in building and managing a Procurement CoE or similar function.

Strong knowledge of procurement technologies and digital transformation.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management leadership skills.

Experience in global procurement environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba).

Familiarity with ESG, supplier diversity, and risk management frameworks.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $177,000.00 - $266,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
