The Director of Demand Planning-Global will lead and optimize demand planning processes within the procurement and supply chain department of a high growth beauty and personal care brand. The role requires strategic thinking and excellent leadership skills to drive accuracy and efficiency in forecasting and inventory management for global operations. Client Details This high growth beauty and cosmetics brand has grown 50% YoY. The company is committed to innovation, delivering high-quality products to its customers globally. Description As the Director of Demand Planning-Global you will develop and implement global demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and meet business objectives. Analyze market trends, sales data, and customer behaviors to forecast demand accurately. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain operations with business goals. Monitor and improve forecasting accuracy through data analysis and process improvements. Lead and mentor a team of demand planning professionals to achieve department objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Utilize advanced planning tools and systems to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Prepare and present reports on demand planning performance to senior leadership. Profile A successful Director of Demand Planning-Global should have: A strong background in demand planning within beauty, cosmetics, or the personal care space. Must have experience with global demand planning working with multiple retailers in the beauty, personal care, or cosmetics space. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Experience with advanced planning tools and data analytics. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. This role is hybrid with 2 days on site in Playa Vista, CA
