Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Tubular Group has an opening for the role of District Sales Manager (DSM) for the Northwest territory which includes Northern California, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Western Canada. The DSM role involves delivering industry leading service, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, prospecting for new business, serving as a liason between customers and Nucor operations, forecasting, and proactively solving problems to help the team achieve strategic goals. This position requires extensive travel and frequent face-to-face interaction with customers. The DSM is also responsible for executing the product group and enterprise-wide strategy within the assigned territory, working closely with Sales, Production, and Technical teams to maximize Nucor's profitability.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications:

Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technical or related field 3+ years of outside sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrates deep knowledge of steel products and industry markets.
