Purpose of Role
Under Armour is seeking a visual storyteller with exceptional graphic design skills to help elevate and unify our brand across the Americas region. As the Sr. Designer, Americas you will work collaboratively with a team of creatives, producers, copywriters, and marketers to bring to life powerful visual solutions that resonate with athletes at every touchpoint. In this role you will be
responsible for translating creative briefs into impactful executions across a variety of modern marketing mediums crafted to inspire the next generation of athletes.
Your Impact
Accountable for how our brand shows up visually in the Americas region across all consumer touchpoints including Wholesale, DTC, Brand Channels, GTM and Category Marketing.
Work directly with the Americas Creative Team and report to the Sr. Creative Director, Americas.
Create compelling visual design solutions across a variety of modern marketing mediums and social platforms.
Work within published brand guidelines, while also understanding how and when to push the brand forward.
Work in an agile, fast-paced, consumer-obsessed environment. The candidate for this role must demonstrate an ability to think strategically, influence others and have a self-directed approach to project management.
Work cross-functionally across the Marketing organization on a daily basis. They will be responsible for analyzing briefs and requests from the marketing team and turning them into impactful visual communications that drive defined KPIs.
Ability to influence the creatives and marketers around them - showing them what best-in-class storytelling sounds like.
Qualifications
Experience working cross-functionally with a diverse set of teammates with different points of views, interests and backgrounds.
3-5 years of experience in graphic design
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); motion skills are a plus.
Strong understanding of typography and image relationships.
Proven experience in taking creative ideas from concept through execution.
A deep understanding of sports culture.
Strong understanding of modern marketing mediums and the nuances of channel and platform specific content
Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
Microsoft Office and Mac platform proficiency
Workplace Location

This individual must reside within commuting distance from our
Baltimore
office.
Work Schedule:
4 days in-office per week.

Base Compensation
$76,812.00-$96,015.00 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
