
We are partnering with a high-growth, private-equity-backed organization to identify a Director, Total Rewards who will play a critical role in scaling compensation, benefits, and HR technology during a period of rapid organic growth.
This is a builder role, not a maintenance role. The right leader will be equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing hands-on, partnering closely with the CHRO and senior leadership to modernize Total Rewards infrastructure and drive disciplined, data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of compensation, incentive, and benefits programs
- Maintain and evolve job architecture, salary bands, titles, and career frameworks
- Oversee merit, bonus, and incentive processes, including system configuration and workflows
- Serve as the internal expert and owner of HRIS (Paylocity) for compensation, benefits, and analytics
- Improve data integrity, reporting, dashboards, and leader-facing insights
- Partner on benefits strategy, vendor management, renewals, and compliance (ERISA, ACA, 401(k), etc.)
- Act as a thought partner to HRBPs and executives in a multi-site, hourly + salaried workforce
- Support Total Rewards and HRIS diligence and integration for future growth initiatives
Ideal Background
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards / Compensation & Benefits
- Proven experience building or scaling programs in a growing organization
- Strong understanding of compensation design, incentive plans, and job architecture
- Hands-on experience with Paylocity or comparable HRIS platforms
- Comfortable operating in environments with change, growth, and complexity
- Prior experience in PE-backed, industrial, construction, manufacturing, or field-based organizations is a plus
