Seeking an experienced, visionary, and collaborative executive to serve as Executive Director, the chief executive officer of a dynamic public agency shaping the economic, environmental, and transportation future of Whatcom County.
The Executive Director provides strategic leadership over the Port's diverse operations, including aviation, maritime, real estate, and infrastructure assets. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can translate policy direction into effective operations, balance economic development with environmental stewardship, and build trusted relationships with community partners, tribes, government agencies, tenants, and stakeholders at the local, state, and national levels.
