Senior Banker (Float)

Senior Banker conducts all retail financial transactions, cross-sells bank products, and services clients with the goal of providing exceptional customer service, financial support, and deepening community relationships. The right person for this role is technologically savvy and will have operational responsibilities including opening and closing the branch, lobby support and core system supervisory override authority. The rate of pay is the minimum amount offered for this position. Blue Foundry Bank will compensate employees in a fair and equitable manner, taking into consideration education, skills, current and relevant experience, among other factors. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for incentive pay based on the achievement of company and/or individual goals. Minimum Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent AND a minimum of 2 years of banking experience Retail experience with an emphasis on sales and customer service College degree preferred Effective communication, interpersonal skills, customer service and sales skills. Must have the ability to work flexible hours and travel to various branch locations as staffing requires, for unspecified periods Bilingual in Spanish preferred Must have the ability to work independently Primary Responsibilities

Consistently provide quality customer service by demonstrating our service/sales relationship building behaviors Ability to evaluate and identify financial needs and present appropriate products/services to meet these needs. Opens new accounts and related products/services: debit card, direct deposit, etc. Processes all financial transactions. Serves as a point person to answer internal and external inquiries on the topic of bank products and services, transactions, and policies and procedures. Possess the ability to identify customers' financial needs and cross-selling bank products and services to meet those needs, while advising customers on promotional products and services. Process incoming mail transactions and night deposits. Involved with daily proof of the ATM, replenish cash using dual controls. Ensure the ATM is in working order and adequate supplies are available for customer use. Scheduled hours vary by location to support business hours. Hours Monday-Saturday. Travel is required as float coverage will be provided based on individual branch staffing needs. Additional Responsibilities

Engage in branch activities planned by Branch Management. Practice behaviors that are focused on achieving individual and team goals. Participates in business development efforts. Assist branch management and/or conduct monthly audits, certifications, proofs, reconciliations, filing, scanning, and other duties as assigned as outlined in the Policy and Procedures Competent and confident in teaching self-service options to customers. Assist in other areas of the bank/branch as assigned Assumes responsibility to open/close branch independent of other branch management. Assumes responsibility to override transactions within established limits basing decisions on Bank policies and procedures. Assist in other areas of the bank/branch as assigned. All employees should have knowledge of bank's procedures and its compliance as it pertains to their position.
