We are extremely proud of our legacy of excellence and constantly work to fulfill our mission to protect people, enhance lives, and preserve the planet./ppWhat do our pest control consultants do?/ppThe primary purpose of this role is to sell the companys industry leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers, while maintaining a customer-focused service to grow the business. Youll be the face of our national brand to your local community, and your clients will count on you to protect their homes and their families. This includes assessing customers needs by consulting with the customer and performing an analysis using expert knowledge of the companys products and services that result in the sales of the organizations pest control solutions./ppResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:/pulliVisually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc. Based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions as well as preventative maintenance for residential customers/liliCollaborate with our customer service center, inside sales department, and technicians for increased opportunities/liliPartner with branch manager to identify revenue streams with our current base and service specialist engagement. Develop proposals for customers to resolve existing pest issues while also proposing additional enhancements to pest household services/liliComplete home diagram using sales CRM and provided to ensure clear understanding of customer home and possible challenges/liliFollow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities/liliProvide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure the job is completed satisfactorily/liliComplete daily activities and sales performance using the company sales CRM/li/ulpEssential job functions:/pulliYouve got to be able to move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 1120 lbs. frequently, whether thats lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects/liliYoull move around a lot
regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Youll go up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles. And youll need to keep your balance when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces. (Youll definitely get your steps in.)/liliYou must be comfortable dealing with different pests (spiders, flies, mosquitos, rodents, etc.), as well as being required to go into small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, attics, etc./liliYou must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and make sure it and all other equipment is kept clean/liliSometimes youll need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator, and youll need to be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways (you know, where critters live)/li/ulpWhat do you need?/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliCompany vehicle and gas card provided/liliStrong social, customer service, and communication skills
