Providing professional grooming and pet styling services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to customer preferences and breed standards. Ensuring the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process by employing gentle handling techniques and positive reinforcement. Conducting thorough assessments of each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall well-being, and communicating any concerns to the pet owners. Educating pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommending appropriate grooming products for home care. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the grooming van, ensuring all grooming equipment and supplies are sanitized and well-maintained. Scheduling and managing appointments, ensuring timely arrivals and efficient use of time to maximize productivity. Providing exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, addressing concerns, and always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Requirements include: A love of animals! Proven experience as a professional pet stylist (REQUIRED), with a deep understanding of various grooming techniques, breed-specific cuts, and coat types. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (REQUIRED), with the ability to drive a grooming van safely and efficiently. Passion for working with animals and a demonstrated ability to handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pet owners and provide outstanding customer service. Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality grooming services. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet appointment schedules. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours based on customer demand. Certification from a reputable grooming school or a similar grooming qualification is highly desirable. Ability to lift to 75lbs and/or heavy dogs temporarily. Furry Land is an equal-opportunity employer.
