FORT's 1012-week paid Sales Internship provides hands-on exposure to how FORT develops customer relationships, supports account management, and drives new business opportunities. Interns will learn sales fundamentals, product knowledge, and go-to-market strategies while working closely with both Inside Sales and Account Managers. This experience builds the foundation for a career in sales, business development, or customer engagement within the technology and AV industry. What You Will Be Doing
Assisting with customer inquiries, gathering requirements, and supporting timely follow-up communication Learning how to qualify leads, prepare quotes, build proposals, and support the sales cycle from initial outreach to close Supporting Account Managers by organizing product information, researching pricing, assembling specification sheets, and helping prepare sales presentations Developing product knowledge across AV, UC, and integration technologies and learning how to communicate value to customers Participating in business development activities, including outreach campaigns, event preparation, and coordination of manufacturer visits Learning inside sales processes such as order entry, customer onboarding, and maintaining accurate sales data Observing outside sales activities, including customer meetings, site visits, and solution discussions with Account Managers (when appropriate) Building relationships with internal teams, vendors, manufacturers, and customers Completing a final project such as developing a proposal or presenting a sales strategy recommendation What We're Looking For
Education:
Anticipated associate's or bachelor's graduation preferably between Spring 2026
Spring 2027 Students pursuing degrees in business, marketing, communications, sales, or related fields Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort interacting with customers Interest in technology solutions, audiovisual systems, or the broader commercial integration industry Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate documentation Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or willingness to learn Why Should You Apply?
