Sales Development Representative III

You'll identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strategic relationships with key accounts, and collaborate across divisions to deliver comprehensive solutions. You'll leverage our industry-leading portfolio to help customers solve complex challenges while advancing your career with a global leader in serving science. In this role, you'll prospect for new leads, qualify opportunities, and engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate our value proposition. You'll work closely with Business Development Executives and Account Executives to drive growth initiatives, coordinate customer communications, and manage the sales pipeline through our CRM system. Success in this role comes from building strong relationships, delivering effective presentations, and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Keys to Success
Education: Bachelors degree required plus 2-3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry Additional certifications in sales, business development, or relevant technical areas beneficial Experience: Strong understanding of scientific workflows, laboratory operations, and industry trends Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets and building successful client relationships Expert proficiency in CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication skills in business environment Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and influence without direct authority Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to develop strategic solutions Self-directed with exceptional time management and organizational skills Ability to travel up to 50% as needed to support territory requirements Fluency in English required; additional languages valuable for international roles Experience with CDMO services, laboratory products, or relevant technical solutions preferred Proven ability to maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex customer requirements The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $75,700.00$113,500.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
