Oklahoma City, Ardmore, Lawton BENEFITS: Competitive Medical, Dental, & Vision packages, Employer paid basic life policy with competitive buy-up options, Disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match SUMMARY OF DUTIES: To set and reset new and existing business accounts, consistent with authorized Plan O Grams, and promote sales in order to increase profitability to the customer and to the Company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following additional duties, which are necessary to carry out the function of the Sales Merchandiser, may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job description: Primary responsibility is to maximize/execute sales and profit objectives by timely execution of in store directives Set and reset merchandise in store to match the authorized Plan O Gram layout provided by the Store owner/manager or Merchandising Manager Responsible to perform basic merchandising duties including but not limited to timely updating store order tags, replacing worn pegs, stripping and channel strips; required to maintain adequate inventory of merchandising supplies and tools to remove deleted products and place new products and/or rearrange products Required to assemble or breakdown, install and determine proper placement for racks and store fixtures consistent with increasing profitability to the customer and Company Unload and unpack merchandise into appropriate area of the store; maintain neat store appearance by removing boxes/trash generated from merchandising task Timely report needs and changes in the marketplace to Sales Manager Follows direction from Set Leader or Sales Manager Responsible for being able to use computer and applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, email, proprietary software and attaching documents Report to work on time, as directed by Sales Manager; performs above listed duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing the information effectively and communicating opportunities or issues timely and effectively to the appropriate person Customarily and is regularly engaged away from the Company's place or places of business; occasional out of town and/or overnight travel is required based on Company needs The employee is regularly engaged in sales which a consideration will be paid to the Company by the customer Reports to work, meetings, and scheduled business affairs on time, as directed by management and completes above listed tasks in a competent manner SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of this job include moderate to heavy physical activities of an administrative, productive and/or technical nature that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. In order to perform the essential duties of this job the employee must regularly stand, walk, talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently sit, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift up to 10 pounds and frequently lift up to 25 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions and in wet humid conditions. The noise level of the work environment is moderate.
