The Member Services Sales Associate consistently provides an exceptional member experience in person at our venues and in our call center. Associates support revenue goals through knowledge sharing, consulting on Membership levels and building relationships with our Members. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Effectively communicates the value of membership, using expert knowledge to potential members, and encouraging purchase of renewal and upgrade to existing members, with a smile Sell memberships, upgrades, and Member tickets, and provide member support with promotions and events Manage daily cash, check and credit card payments at front gate and by phone while adhering to Audubon's Cash Handling policy. Closes all daily sales accurately, notating any discrepancies clearly, handling cash & provide change without error Maintains the quality and integrity of Member information through accurate record keeping, information gathering and data entry. Utilizes computer system to perform Membership sales and servicing. Responsible for maintaining a highly organized, neat and professional workspace. Stocks office and ticket booth with necessary supplies and incentives. What We're Looking For Must Haves: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum one year sales associate or relevant experience in the retail industry with proven results Ability to follow high customer service, quality, and image standards Positive attitude, enthusiastic, and upbeat. Basic math, spelling, and typing skills necessary Willingness and ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events as necessary. Nice-to-Haves: Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) Physical Requirements: Physical Demands: Prolonged standing, walking, and climbing of stairs or ladders. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, crouching, twisting, and reaching. Manual dexterity to operate machinery or handle tools. Frequent use of vision and hearing to assess surroundings and job tasks. Environmental Conditions: May include indoor and outdoor work environments. Exposure to varying weather conditions. Potential exposure to environmental hazards such as dust, chemicals, or loud noise.
