Parts Phone Room Sales

The Parts Phone Room Sales person will assist in making the Parts Department a profitable center by focusing on providing excellent customer service using established customer sales standards. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Determine replacement part required by customer request or customer description of malfunction Inform customer on substitution or modification of part when identical replacement is not available Fill parts orders received by telephone Utilize computer or catalog to determine part stock number and price Receive and fill telephone orders for parts Prepare wreck estimates and fax to customer Keep work area neat and organized Complete training requirements for the parts department Attend scheduled parts meetings Education/Training or Experience: High School diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience Intermediate to advanced computer skills required 1 year of experience in the heavy-duty truck industry preferred Prior call room experience preferred
