Position Title: Property Associate Department: Facilities Reports To: Real Estate and Facilities Manager Position Code: 19503104 FLSA: Non Exempt ICPA: Covered Effective Date: 10/03/2018 Grade: 4 Barrier Crimes: Covered Purpose of Position: Coordinate housing arrangements for NSHC new hires, temporary hires and village employees who travel to Nome or throughout the region for training. Monitor the condition of all units. Uphold the organization's vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization's policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules. Essential Functions: Schedule housing assignments as authorized for new hires, temporary staff or village staff traveling to Nome and throughout the region for training and submit weekly reports to reflect use Submit requests for cleaning when units are vacated and inspect to make sure the condition of each unit meets a minimum standard for occupancy Submit work orders for minor repairs that are the responsibility of NSHC and contact landlords for repairs and upgrades as necessary Assist in the review of all bills for all leased units Purchase supplies needed for cleaning, replacement small appliances, bedding and kitchen supplies such as dishes, pots & pans, linens, etc. Track and respond to complaints immediately and assist tenants in resolving issues that may require coordination with the landlord Perform other duties as assigned Personal Traits: All Norton Sound Health Corporation employees are expected to consistently demonstrate the organization's values: integrity, cultural sensitivity and respect for traditional values, continual learning and improving, compassion, teamwork and pride. Job specific skills and abilities are listed below: Ability to work with landlords and service providers Ability to make corporate housing users feel comfortable Above average written and oral communication skills Minimum Requirements: Education High School Diploma or equivalent Experience 1 year(s) experience working in hotel industry or office setting (preferred) Credentials Valid Driver's license Physical Requirements: Use hands and arms to operate office or clinical equipment Sit more than half the workday Stand and/or walk less than half the workday Bend, stretch, twist, crouch and/or reach View electronic monitors for prolonged periods of time Use hands and arms for repetitive motion tasks consistently for more than one hour at a time Lift or carry unadied more than 25 pounds See and hear with normal acuity Working Conditions: Work is conducted in a standard office and in outside environments No travel is required
