Outside Sales Inspector
Clegg's Pest Control is seeking an outside sales inspector to join our sales team in Raleigh. Experience is preferred but not required. Ninety day paid training at $3,000 per month! Responsibilities include: Selling termite control protection and renewals, and/or monthly pest control protection to residential and prospects Conducting inspections to identify infestations or conditions conducive to infestations of insects or other vertebrate pests, for making proposals and presentations to obtain sales contracts Covering sales leads in assigned branch and developing multiple additional service and/or pest control sales leads creatively for each respective lead furnished lead Recording accurate measurements and writing correct descriptions of property inspected Preparing appropriate specifications and treating instructions in accordance with existing laws, regulations and company policy Computing job-treating cost from company pricing instructions Executing contracts on behalf of the company, observing company policy as to credit terms of sale Dealing courteously with customers, leaving customers premises and furnishings clean and as found Contacting customers after service is performed to ensure customer satisfaction and to develop additional prospects Maintaining appearance of uniform as directed by company policy Maintaining equipment, vehicle and personal safety equipment in clean, working order Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include: Previous outside sales experience required Previous pest control, some familiarity with pest control methods and equipment is preferred but not required Maintains knowledge of pests and chemicals used in treatment Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos Ability to draw and interpret graphs Skill in creating sales leads and cross-selling company products and services Physical ability to be on your feet and maneuver in crawl spaces in various weather conditions Education and experience requirements include: B2B sales: 3 years (Required) Outside sales: 3 years (Required) High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) Candidates must have prior sales experience with a history of demonstrated self-initiated sales results Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test Additional compensation includes: Extensive training, company vehicle and gas card Draw vs. commission on all work sold and collected after 90 day training period Estimated pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits include: Medical, dental and vision after 60 days of employment Company paid life insurance Paid vacation, holidays and sick days Short and long term disability 401(k) retirement plan with company matching funds Direct deposit Clegg's Pest Control is a family owned business that has grown from one office located in Durham, NC to 13 branch offices that now service the entire state of NC, SC, and VA.
