Respond promptly and warmly to guest, travel agent, and referral network inquiries via email, live chat, phone, and central reservation systems. Utilize the Hotel PMS system to book accommodations, activities, and transportation, accurately recording guest preferences and important stay details. Maintain in-depth knowledge of ranch accommodations, packages, rates, seasonal offers, amenities, and property layout. Understand and articulate the unique offerings of Lone Mountain Ranch to effectively guide guests toward experiences that meet their needs. Identify opportunities to upsell premium accommodations, packages, and add-ons to enhance guest stays and maximize revenue. Engage and assist website visitors through Live Chat to capture and convert new inquiries into confirmed bookings. Differentiate high-value leads and prioritize them to optimize conversion rates and profitability. Accurately process reservation modifications, cancellations, and guest requests, communicating changes promptly to the appropriate property teams. Handle advance deposits, billing transactions, and guest payment information securely and efficiently. Maintain and update guest profiles with key information, including special occasions, personal preferences, and booking history. Collect, track, and analyze inquiry sources and booking data to support marketing and sales initiatives. Monitor booking patterns and demand trends to assist in refining sales strategies and pricing recommendations. Assist in the creation of training materials and mentorship of new Sales Agents when needed. Participate in weekly sales meetings (virtual and in-person) to align strategies, discuss business needs, and share guest insights. Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Agent or Reservations Sales Agent in the hospitality industry. Proven passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service experiences. Strong sales orientation, with experience in upselling and consultative selling. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and remain organized, proactive, and self-directed in a remote environment. Prior experience working remotely preferred. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail. Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and Hotel PMS systems (such as Springer-Miller, Opera, or similar platforms). High level of accountability, professionalism, and personal initiative. Work Environment
This position is primarily remote. Sales Agents must maintain a professional, dedicated home workstation that is private, reliable, and free of distractions. Must reside in Madison County, Gallatin County, or Park County, Montana. Sales Agents must work from a fixed home base; working while traveling or on vacation is not permitted. Must be on property at Lone Mountain Ranch at least one day per week to attend in-person meetings, trainings, and team collaborations. Must be able to sit for extended periods working at a desk with a computer and phone. Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds may be required (e.g., for supplies or equipment).
