Labor Relations Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide day-to-day administrative support under supervision in our Labor Relations Department. This position will assist with data entry in multiple systems, pulling rates, and other administrative tasks. Critical for success are strong attention to detail, prioritize and the ability to multitask. Key Responsibilities:

Provide broad administrative support to the labor department. Assist with basic labor contract interpretation, including scopes of work and pay rates. Assist with apprenticeship tracking and processing. Perform transactional data entry into systems with a high degree of accuracy. Scan, organize, and file labor-related documents. Maintain various internal databases, assist with correspondence. Verify and manage documentation for various labor-related processes. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, while providing basic information when needed. Take and deliver accurate messages. Write, proofread and distribute/mail correspondence, reports, and letters as requested. Assist management with development and assembly of presentation materials. Other duties as assigned. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools is a plus. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges. A high level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information. High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
