The Service Sales Specialist is responsible for delivering orders pertaining to service contract agreements in the United States and Canada, generating revenue through converting renewal contracts while proactively targeting clients currently not in a support agreement. The Service Sales Specialist establishes professional relationships with key influencers / decision makers to understand their needs & buying processes. The Service Sales Specialist takes ownership of a given territory & subset of products to drive growth through prospecting while handling all aspects of the contract selling process. This position reports to the Service Growth Manager and is part of the service sales business unit located in Deerfield, IL and will be Onsite. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Drive results through achieving quarterly & annual sales targets set in established areas of responsibility based on region & product group Communicate with prospective customers proactively using email & telephone outreach to assist clients with the process of renewing service support agreement contracts Market the value of our product offerings to unsupported customers through targeted campaigns The essential requirements of the job include: High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience with B2B sales with demonstrated success managing all aspects of the sales cycle Proficient with CRM platforms to manage sales funnel & strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: This position requires up to 10% travel, locally around the Deerfield, IL area Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 20lbs It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Associate's or Bachelor's degree Proven achievement in providing detailed solution offerings while meeting required key performance indicators Ability to lead conversations through polished communication skills to interact with & present to internal & external decision makers Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
