Responsible for providing product, service, and pricing information to field sales and customers regarding the Zimmer product lines. Responsible for execution of proactive sales initiatives in conjunction with field sales. Serve as conduit between outside sales teams and internal groups to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction. How You'll Create Impact
Analyze market data by product line and provide detailed reporting outlining issues and opportunities for our Marketing and Sales teams. Be knowledgeable about the status of repairs and determine if rush service of equipment is required or if loaner equipment is required. Requires close coordination with Operations and Marketing. Receive incoming service-related calls from field sales regarding capital equipment Assist with product training lead by the Associate Director of Sales Maintain and articulate cross-reference information on all major competitive product lines. Answer field sales calls regarding product number inquiries, competitive catalog number conversions, sample products and related product questions and general sales questions. Responsible for completion of sample shipments, sample inventory and order entry information. Receive field sales requests for evaluation samples and manage budget samples. Lead collaborative sales initiatives with sales leaders Proactive calls to ensure customer satisfaction Understanding of pricing and approvals to ensure timely quotations to customers. Strong analytical skills and outstanding interpersonal skills Be knowledgeable of all promotional programs offered by product centers. Must be able to provide prompt and accurate solutions to a wide range of questions from the field sales force, field office personnel, internal personnel and Zimmer Biomet customers. Must know which Zimmer Biomet personnel to contact for answers to questions or approval of procedures beyond the scope of the Sales Support Specialist authority. General knowledge of medical device business including the science, products (ZB and competitors), research and commercialization process, manufacturing, marketing, and sales Must be able to calculate product discount percentages, selling prices and margins. Must be articulate and tactful, conveying an attitude of cooperation and support. Knowledge of computer programs, i.e. DCS, Excel, Word, e-mail and Impromptu Excellent organizational and communication skills, sometimes work under stressful conditions. Your Background
Must be actively enrolled in an academic program for the entire duration of the assignment. Pursuit of bachelor's degree with at least a junior level standing. Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the internship session Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship. GPA of 3.2+ preferred.
