• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws to prevent illicit activity.​

• Facilitate legitimate trade by conducting inspections of individuals, conveyances, and cargo.

• Evaluate evidence to determine admissibility for entry into the United States.

• Pursue illegal activities related to smuggling of goods or contraband through various methods.
