Medix is seeking a versatile and patient-focused

Radiologic Technologist

for a unique travel contract at a clinic in Hudson, WI. As a Medix clinician, you will be the sole technologist on-site, providing essential diagnostic imaging while supporting the clinic's front-end operations. This role is a 60/40 split between front-desk support and radiology, making it an ideal fit for a clinician who enjoys a variety of tasks and a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures (mostly scheduled with some urgent care walk-ins) using AMRAD Medical DR equipment.

Ensure proper patient positioning, technical factor selection, and image identification.

Provide professional patient care and assessment, maintaining high standards for radiation protection for patients and staff.

Manage clinical documentation within the

Epic

EMR system.

Administrative Support:

Due to a lower daily scan volume (approx. 1–4 scans per day), you will spend a portion of your shift assisting with front-desk check-in and administrative duties.

Operate as the solo technologist on shift, maintaining equipment functionality and quality control.

Requirements

Education:

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

Certification:

ARRT certified or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months).

Licensure:

Valid Wisconsin state licensure.

Basic Life Support (BLS):

Current CPR certification required.

Clinical Flexibility:

Must be comfortable and willing to perform front-desk administrative duties in addition to imaging.

Preferred Skills

Previous experience in a Primary Care or Urgent Care setting.

Proficiency with Epic EMR.
