Laurel is on a mission to return time. As the leading AI Time platform for professional services firms, we’re transforming how organizations capture, analyze, and optimize their most valuable resource: time. Our proprietary machine learning technology automates work time capture and connects time data to business outcomes, enabling firms to increase profitability, improve client delivery, and make data-driven strategic decisions. We serve many of the world's largest accounting and law firms, including EY, Aprio, Crowell & Moring, and Frost Brown Todd, and process over 1 billion work activities annually that have never been collected and aggregated before Laurel’s AI Time platform.
Our team comprises top talent in AI, product development, and engineering—innovative, humble, and forward-thinking professionals committed to redefining productivity in the knowledge economy. We're building solutions that empower workers to deliver twice the value in half the time, giving people more time to be creative and impactful. If you're passionate about transforming how people work and building a lasting company that explores the essence of time itself, we'd love to meet you.
About the role
The Digital Footprint is the foundation of everything Laurel builds. As Head of Product for Digital Footprint, you will set the strategy for how Laurel captures, connects, and activates the truth of work — across desktop activity, documents, email, meetings, calls, and the broader enterprise tool ecosystem.
Timekeeping, compliance, Signal, analytics, and future AI agents all depend on the quality and coverage of this foundation. This role exists to define and drive the company-wide strategy that ensures Laurel’s capture and integration layer is trusted, extensible, and differentiated.
This is a senior product leadership role operating at the intersection of product strategy, platform partnerships, and enterprise trust, with leverage across every product Laurel ships.
What you will do
Own the Digital Footprint product strategy and multi-year roadmap, including platform priorities, ecosystem coverage, and competitive differentiation
Define Laurel’s external integrations strategy across enterprise systems, collaboration suites, productivity tools, and line-of-business platforms
Identify and prioritize the highest-impact integrations and partnerships to expand Laurel’s footprint and unlock new product capabilities
Establish standards for signal quality (accuracy, completeness, noise reduction, explainability) and ensure they are met across the footprint
Define the contract between Digital Footprint and downstream systems, including timekeeping workflows, AI models, compliance engines, and Signal
Partner with Engineering and Design to ensure capture experiences are trustworthy, explainable, and enterprise-ready
Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Security to identify capture gaps that block adoption and expansion
Prioritize ruthlessly, recognizing that decisions in this layer have outsized impact across the company
You will be a great fit if you have
REQUIRED: Experience leading a platform or ecosystem product with significant external integrations
REQUIRED: Strong product strategy and judgment in ambiguous, enterprise-scale problem spaces
REQUIRED: Ability to align cross-functional teams around a platform vision and integration roadmap
Experience defining partnerships and integration strategies that unlock new product capabilities
Comfort operating across multiple product teams whose success depends on your work
A bias toward building durable foundations that enable others to move faster
Nice to haves
Experience with desktop agents, productivity tools, or enterprise SaaS platforms
Familiarity with AI/ML-powered products and how data quality impacts model performance
