Job Description
Lilly’s ongoing research and commercial efforts in Neuroscience present one of the most exciting opportunities in the history of the company. Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the sixth leading cause of death in the US and the only disease with an increasing mortality rate that cannot be prevented or cured. Key Deliverables
- Partner across all field roles to drive consistent ways of working within the regional healthcare market to meet customers’ needs
- Coach and develop successful portfolio business results across multiple specialties and healthcare systems
- Coach to optimize a data‑driven approach and other technologies to accelerate reach and scale, meet the needs of customers and drive business results through execution excellence
- Anticipate and embrace organizational change and encourage team members and peers to do the same
- Model and encourage a growth mindset to be bold, fast and clear
- Align to the corporate vision and objectives across district, area and business unit
- Coach the mastery of account management capabilities to make strategic business decisions
- Differentiate performance and hold individual teammates accountable for performance, execution and Team Lilly behaviors
- Ability to complete 8-10 live coaching days and complete field visit summaries

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in leading a field facing or non‑sales role
- Professional certification or license required to perform in this position if required by a specific state
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role
Additional Preferences
- Live inside geography or within 50 miles of geography boundaries. Strong preference for candidates who already reside within the geography, (i.e., no relocation necessary)
- Previous formal supervisory experience
- Proficiency in local dialects
- Proven and consistent top performance over time
- Alzheimer’s disease, Diagnostics, Neuroscience/Neurology, or related experience
- MBA or relevant advanced degree or certification
- Prior account‑based sales experience (e.g., oncology, hospital/institution, medical device, buy and bill and/or medical benefit products)
- Ability to coach and comprehend complex clinical studies
- Ability to coach in a buy and bill ecosystem
- Proven ability to develop people with clear examples of progressing careers and capabilities of direct reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a fast paced and dynamic environment with an ability to synthesize the complex and to create and execute effective action plans
- Proven ability to work well cross‑functionally and collaboratively
- Exemplary ability to demonstrate resilience, grit, and appropriately self‑resolve problems
- Ability to comprehend, utilize, and communicate technical information
- Preference for candidates who can participate fully in established training dates
- Preference for candidates who can participate fully in April National Meeting
Additional Information
Role requires approximately 70‑85% travel, primarily within assigned geography, but also nationally, as required.

Compensation & Benefits
Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $157,500 - $279,400. Full‑time equivalent employees are also eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program, including eligibility to participate in a company‑sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits; life insurance; and well‑being benefits.
