
The Director, Talent Acquisition,
reporting to the VP of Human Resources, spearheads innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent across Emerging Talent, FSC, and Field Recruitment teams. The role drives the evolution of recruiting policies and processes, empowers teams to build strategic partnerships and sustainable talent pipelines, and ensures a seamless hiring lifecycle. It also advances workforce planning, employer branding, sourcing, operations, and analytics to deliver exceptional candidate experience. The director leverages a progressive, data driven mindset to anticipate long-term business needs and continuously enhance the organization's recruiting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: Support the strategic direction and execution of all talent acquisition initiatives to align with the company organizational goals, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent across all functions. Develop and implement advanced recruitment strategies and workforce planning models to proactively address future talent needs and maintain a competitive edge in the market. Optimize and elevate the performance of the talent acquisition team by setting clear performance metrics, providing leadership training, and ensuring adherence to best practices. Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to continuously refine recruitment methodologies, enhance candidate experience, and reduce time-to-fill and cost-per-hire metrics. Establish and nurture strong relationships with university career services, industry organizations, and other talent partners to build a robust talent pipeline and employer brand presence. Drive the integration and utilization of cutting-edge recruitment technologies and platforms, ensuring the adoption of innovative solutions to identify, engage, and secure high-caliber candidates efficiently. Oversee the management of the talent acquisition budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial discipline in line with the organizational fiscal objectives.
Direct Manager / Direct Reports: Reports directly to the Vice President Human Resources. Responsible for leading the following recruitment teams: Field Service Center (FSC), Emerging Talent, and Field Recruitment teams.
Travel Requirements: Travel requirements will be determined based on business needs, including but not limited to attending industry conferences, participating in recruitment events, and vertical meetings.
Physical Requirements: This role operates in a hybrid work environment (3-4 days in the office) and requires the ability to perform computer-based tasks for extended periods, with frequent sitting and occasional standing or walking. Strong verbal communication skills are essential for effective engagement in both in-person and virtual meetings. The position may also involve lifting to 10 pounds and maintaining sustained visual focus when reviewing documents and digital content. Skilled in workforce planning, talent pipelining, and supporting business aligned hiring objectives. Demonstrated success in high volume hiring and leading enterprise level talent initiatives. Experienced in developing and managing recruitment budgets. Proficient in Workday. Knowledgeable in modern recruiting trends, technologies, and tools. Strong inclusive leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for influencing stakeholders at all levels. Data driven approach to improving and measuring recruiting outcomes. Proven ability to refine recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and quality. Comprehensive understanding of employment laws to ensure compliant hiring practices.
Preferred Qualifications: Proven success leading high performing TA teams and delivering recruiting strategies aligned with organizational and diversity goals. Skilled in developing data driven long-term staffing plans and anticipating talent needs, with strong insight into industry and labor market trends to proactively address pipeline challenges. Build strong partnerships with senior leaders and key stakeholders and drives transformative TA initiatives, including technology adoption to streamline operations. Applies strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, improve recruiting performance, and foster an inclusive, engaging recruitment culture that enhances employer brand. Brings global TA experience with cross-cultural and regulatory awareness and excels at communicating complex concepts across all levels. Demonstrates a forward-thinking mindset focused on continuous improvement and exploring new sourcing channels and technologies to strengthen recruitment capabilities.
Minimum Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications are highly desirable.

Minimum Years Of Work Experience: At least 10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a minimum of 5 years in a Director or Senior Manager level leadership role.
Certifications: Professional Human Resources (PHR) - Required. Certified Talent Acquisition Specialist (CTAS) - Strongly Preferred. Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) - Preferred. Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - Advantageous.
