We are seeking a

Business Development Director

to lead FlowWest’s marketing and business development. This senior role is central to our growth strategy and competitive positioning. The Director will shape business development strategy, oversee proposals and pursuits, build client and partner relationships, and ensure FlowWest’s communications and outreach reflect our mission and expertise. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership Define and implement BD strategies for key markets, services, and geographies. Align BD planning with companywide goals and sales targets. Develop annual BD and marketing plans, budgets, and performance dashboards. Serve as Go/NoGo decision maker, ensuring pursuits align with strategic priorities. Provide oversight and strategic direction for proposal content, win themes, and interviews. Standardize proposal processes, templates, and collateral. Client & Partner Engagement Build and expand strategic relationships with target clients and teaming partners. Lead pre‑positioning strategies and targeted BD campaigns. Establish and manage a Client Experience (CX) program to solicit feedback. Communications & Branding Ensure consistency of brand messaging across platforms. Oversee website enhancements, blog/news content, and social media strategy. Standardize marketing collateral and enforce quality control. Develop event and sponsorship strategy. Represent FlowWest at conferences and professional organizations. Lead pre‑ and post‑event BD meetings. Train and mentor marketing staff and technical teams in BD best practices. Develop onboarding and internal training programs. Operations Manage BD and marketing budgets. Track spending against targets and recommend long‑term investments. Qualifications

Extensive experience in

business development and marketing leadership

within professional services (A/E/C industry preferred). Proven ability to lead proposals, client engagement, and strategic growth initiatives. Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. Familiarity with CRM systems and BD performance metrics. Passion for environmental stewardship and water resources. Note:
