Director of Business Development
to support census growth for
short-term rehabilitation and long-term care
services. This role focuses on community outreach, referral development, and admissions coordination to meet budgeted census goals. Key Responsibilities
Achieve facility census and revenue targets Execute strategic marketing efforts (approx.
85% external / 15% internal ) within a
100-mile radius Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and community agencies Conduct admission screenings, including level of care and insurance review Coordinate admissions with nursing and administrative teams Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families Identify and report customer service opportunities to the NHA Qualifications
Nursing License preferred Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care insurance Minimum
1 year Long-Term Care experience Ability to work independently and manage a large territory
