GF Hotels & Resorts is excited to hire a Director of Sales for the Hyatt Place Asheville. We're searching for a director of sales who is motivated to help our busy hotel meet its sales targets. You will be in charge of developing our sales strategy and revenue objectives, training and assessing our sales employees, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business across various hotel sectors. Responsibilities Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures Formulate sales strategies that sustain high levels of occupancy and profitability in collaboration with department managers and their goals Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network Qualifications

Displays a proven track record of sales success by lead-generation and closing Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not required Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required
