About the Role As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will lead strategic and hands-on product marketing initiatives across Salary.com's compensation and HR technology portfolio, including CompAnalyst, SalaryIQ, Pay Equity Suite, CompXL, and related market data and analytics solutions. You will define go-to-market strategy, lead launch readiness, and create compelling content that supports awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of product marketing experience in HR tech, compensation, human capital analytics, or related SaaS solutions. You excel at translating complex compensation workflows and data analytics into accessible narratives for HR leaders, compensation professionals, finance executives, and business partners.
This position is located out of our Headquarters office located in Waltham, MA.
Base Salary Range : $130,000 - $145,000K with a 10% annual bonus opportunity
A Day in the Life These responsibilities illustrate the day-to-day focus of the role:
Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis across HR, compensation management, and pay equity technology.
Synthesize customer insights to identify market needs, product opportunities, and emerging trends in compensation and workforce analytics.
Lead comprehensive go-to-market planning for major product launches and feature enhancements.
Develop value-based positioning, messaging, and proof points tailored to HR, total rewards, compensation, and finance audiences.
Establish KPIs for launch success and regularly report impact on pipeline, adoption, and customer expansion.
Create clear, differentiated product messaging aligned to Salary.com's platform vision, compensation intelligence narrative, and AI powered data capabilities.
Serve as subject matter expert across compensation analytics, job frameworks, pay transparency, and workforce insights.
Develop high quality content to support product education, demand generation, and sales execution.
Maintain strong expertise across Salary.com's products, compensation best practices, and the broader HR tech landscape.
Support customer-facing engagements, trade shows, and webinars as a product marketing representative.
About You
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, HR, or related field.
5+ years of B2B product marketing experience in HR tech, compensation technology, recruiting or similar SaaS environments.
Demonstrated success creating multi-format content and leading GTM initiatives.
Experience supporting sales teams and delivering product-focused enablement.
Previous experience in HR technology, compensation management, pay equity, or workforce analytics strongly preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex compensation or data concepts.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-product SaaS environment.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
Proficiency with CRM, marketing systems, and Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
