Executive Creative Director Location: Remote (with some travel) Agency Type: Experiential / Integrated Creative Agency

Overview We have partnered with a small but highly impactful experiential agency and are seeking an Executive Creative Director to lead and elevate its creative discipline. This is a leadership role for a hands-on creative leader with a strong design foundation, deep experiential expertise, and ad agency experience who is excited to help shape the future of a growing, entrepreneurial organization.

The Executive Creative Director will partner closely with the agency’s founder to define creative vision, guide strategic thinking, and deliver high-quality, experience-led work across a diverse client portfolio. This role balances big-picture leadership with active creative involvement, strong design stewardship, and team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a senior creative leader for the agency, setting creative vision and maintaining high standards of craft across all work

Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team, with a strong emphasis on design excellence and collaboration

Drive experiential thinking and execution across categories including retail, health & wellness, manufacturing, entertainment, and automotive

Oversee creative development from concept through execution, ensuring ideas are strategically sound, visually compelling, and exceptionally crafted

Act as a steward of design quality across environments, systems, and touchpoints

Champion bold ideas while maintaining a practical, solutions-oriented mindset

Contribute to agency culture by modeling curiosity, partnership, integrity, and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach

Ideal Candidate Profile

Senior-level creative leadership experience within an ad agency environment, with a strong focus on experiential work

Design background with a deep understanding of visual systems, spatial design, and brand expression across physical and digital environments

Proven experience leading and developing creative teams across multiple disciplines

Strong experiential instincts and understanding of how brands show up in the real world

Strategic thinker who can translate insight into compelling creative expression

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting

Collaborative, generous leader who values partnership, craft, and thoughtful execution

The target base salary range for this position is

$150,000–$200,000 , with final compensation determined by the candidate’s experience, skills, and leadership level.
