Business Banking Specialist , you will thrive in this role if you genuinely enjoy working with business owners, understanding how their businesses run, and helping them find smarter, more efficient ways to manage their money. You are someone who likes building relationships, spotting opportunities, and being seen as a trusted financial partner-not just a service provider. This role blends
sales, service, and problem-solving , so it's ideal for someone who likes variety in their day and feels energized by balancing customer conversations with behind-the-scenes coordination. You will be responsible for duties that include:
Developing and deepening relationships with business clients to support their growth and retention.
Identifying cross-sell opportunities that genuinely benefit customers.
Talking with customers about cash management tools, digital banking, merchant services, and fraud prevention.
Being the "go-to" resource for business clients when questions or issues arise.
Training customers so they feel confident using banking tools independently.
Solving problems and following issues through to resolution.
Learning the ins and outs of cash management and stepping in as backup support for senior advisors.
Improving processes and helping make banking easier-for both customers and teammates.
Spending time in sales and service responsibilities, such as: growing relationships, uncovering opportunities, and helping customers access the right mix of business banking and cash management services, as well as supporting customers with account changes, troubleshooting, training, fraud assistance, and ongoing cash management needs.
Providing administrative and operational support, such as: ensuring accuracy, compliance, risk reviews, and operational excellence while serving as backup support for key cash management roles.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Banking
A minimum of 2 years' experience in retail banking with an emphasis on account opening, product/service problem resolution and relationship development
Proficient with MS Office products including Word and Excel
Preferred Education and Experience
Previous experience with cash management products
Previous experience in sales and deposit operations
