Role Summary
Title:
Senior Tax Manager – Private Equity & High-Net-Worth Clients
Reports to:
Firm Partners (primary reporting to a Senior Partner)
Overview:
The Tax Manager will oversee client engagements focused on private equity, partnership taxation, and high-net-worth individuals. This highly visible position involves providing strategic tax advisory services, managing complex compliance projects, and delivering tailored solutions for clients with diverse financial structures. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, detail-oriented, and able to work closely with partners and staff to ensure the highest level of service. There is no business development requirement, but this role provides the unique opportunity to build and lead your own tax team as the client base and practice area continue to grow
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; Master’s in Taxation preferred
Active CPA license required (JD acceptable)
Minimum of 8+ years of public accounting experience, with tenure and stability across prior firms
Big 4 or large regional firm background strongly preferred
Deep knowledge of partnership taxation, private equity structures, and flow-through entity compliance
Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members while collaborating effectively with partners and peers
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex tax concepts in practical business terms
Highly organized, analytical, and proactive professional comfortable in a dynamic, client-facing environment
Salary:
$140K–$190K base (up to $200K depending on experience)
Bonus:
Performance-based annual bonus and annual raises (approximately 3%, flexible based on results)
Location:
Downtown Fort Worth, TX – Bank of America Tower
Work Model:
Hybrid schedule (in-office Tuesday and Thursday; remote Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
