Key Responsibilities

Serve as the on-site lead for VA hospital construction projects.

Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.

Maintain and update the project schedule; report progress weekly.

Conduct weekly site meetings with trades and stakeholders.

Enforce quality control and safety procedures on the job site.

Provide detailed daily reports using Procore and other platforms.

Coordinate directly with VA representatives and project stakeholders.

Monitor project costs and drive schedule efficiency.

Oversee final inspections and punch list completion.

Work occasional nights and weekends as needed based on project schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of experience as a construction superintendent.

Associate’s degree or equivalent field experience (3+ years).

Must be able to pass a federal background check (required for VA hospital access).

OSHA 30 certification (required).

Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF).

Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.

Must demonstrate honesty, reliability, and a results-driven mindset.

Schedule

Full-Time: Monday–Friday

Occasional weekends and after-hours required depending on project needs.

Project sites across the Western U.S. (Travel required; per diem and housing provided as applicable)
