Within a high-acuity Radiology Department, the Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services will lead operations that support a designated Stroke Center, a Cardiac Center delivering advanced heart and vascular care, and a strong Orthopedics program known for complex trauma and joint reconstruction. The Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services will ensure seamless pathways for emergency imaging, advanced neuro-interventional workflows, cardiac CT/MRI, MSK imaging, and perioperative coverage that accelerates diagnosis, treatment, and recovery for diverse patient populations.
The Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services will report to an executive hospital leader within an aligned dyad or triad structure, partnering closely with the Medical Director of Radiology and operational leaders across the Emergency Department, Perioperative Services, and Cardiology. Supported by imaging managers, lead technologists, and educators, the Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services will oversee quality, accreditation, regulatory readiness, capital planning, staffing and retention, radiation safety, imaging informatics, and vendor relations, collaborating daily with friendly nurses, expert technologists, radiologists, and a diverse, team-oriented group of healthcare professionals.
